HATE AMONG THE HATERS AND OTHER TIDBITS FROM UPRISE 2009

untitled

There’s a line on the Keystone State “Skinhead” website that goes, “Violence is a mark of desperation and usually employed by those with a lack of options or an in depth understanding of our current situation.” Yeah, that would sound about right. That is why it would not be surprising if they and any of the other local boneheads got into it as the rumors are saying with their Polish “kinsmen” at Uprise 2009, the white power show held in Lebanon, PA. They also say that “(M)ulticulturalism is not a celebration of different cultures but an unnatural destructive experiment that eventually eliminates the unique characteristics of every group forced to take part in it.” So again, it would not be surprising if, again as the rumors are saying, they started on some racist crap with those Polish attendees at the show, being against multiculturalism and all. Still, that’s something the rest of the community where this was held might want to keep them honest on – and start asking questions as to why this particular culture is being allowed in their firehouses. That’s right, the local fire department, through a local catering business that runs the hall, hosted this crap. Being that this is year number 3 for this venue – not to mention the local television station called us to get info on this show – we are sure someone will be asking questions – in just enough time to send the event packing in years to come. So while we didn’t make a big deal about this show on the site, we most certainly want to see how interesting the aftermath getsa in the weeks to come. We want to give mad props for all the effort the Turn It Down Campaign has made in letting people know about this show and encouraging them to get involved against it. Us being involved was actually us helping them in their mission. They do good work and are most certainly worth checking out!

LEBANON, PA – Less than 24 hours after a white power concert held at a fire department hall on Saturday, rumors began to flow about a brawl that might have held up the show, a band from Germany that failed to appear and the catering company that allowed the neo-Nazis to book the venue for the third year in a row.

The concert, called “Uprise 2009”, which was sponsored by three white power record labels, brought about 200 boneheads from across the country representing most of the well-known groups such as Keystone State “Skinheads” Atlantic City “Skins” the Vinlander Social Group, Volksfront, Hammerskin Nation and others. Finnish neo-Nazi Henrik Holappa was also in attendance, coming in from Sarver, PA. According to sources, there were several fights, but one major fight between a Polish crew from Chicago and some East Coast participants. Although it is not being described as a crew war, the response coming from some members of Keystone State “Skinheads” soured the group with other attendees when they began berating “Pollocks” and saying they should not be allowed at any more shows. The brawl caused the show to be halted for about an hour.

Eight bands were scheduled to perform, including two bands from Germany, Moshpit and Brainwash. Reportedly Moshpit was unable to perform and the reason given from the stage was that a band member’s mother was sick. It is unsure if this was true, but it is known that information about the bands and their members were leaked publicly before they came to the States. Reportedly, some band members were indeed flagged at the airport when they arrived, but were still allowed to enter the country.

Uprise 2009 was held at a hall for the Prescott Community Fire Co. in Lebanon. The hall is operated by Elaine’s Catering and this was, according to sources, the third year this venue has hosted the Uprise event. Although there were no plans from antifa to protest the concert, there is a growing concern about a community venue opening their doors to neo-Nazis putting on events such as this. There are other events planned in upcoming months, such as a St. Patrick’s Day event in Florida sponsored by the Confederate Hammerskins, a Memorial Day event also by Hammerskin Nation somewhere in Virginia, and a conference of sorts in Boston in April. It is not known if any of the venues used for these events are friendly to the boneheads or even know the type of event they are hosting.
