COUNCIL OF CONSERVATIVE CITIZENS' EMBARASSES THEMSELVES WITH ANTI-RUPERT MURDOCH SHOT WHILE DEFENDING FRANK BORZELLIERI

Oops!

Hey, let’s face it. You don’t read the Council of Conservative Citizens website thinking they know what they are talking about. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that they would write an entire article slamming the (as their email subject line reads) “Murdoch owned media” for thier “harassment campaign against Frank Borzellieri”. For those who don’t know, Borzellieri is the white supremacist that has been catching Hell since the Daily News reported he has been working for the past two years as a principal for an elementary school in the Bronx where let’s just say a pretty large segment of the student body is not as white as he would probably prefer. And as far as the Daily News is concerned, they are owned by Rupert Murdoch, which means they are bummed, just bummed that this “conservative” newspaper would sell this white guy down the river. Well, on one hand, they can breathe a sigh of relief. The Daily News isn’t owned by Murdoch. He owns the Post, which is VERY right wing. On the other hand, the fact that they wrote an entire article slamming the Daily News for not standing up for the conservative principals they are supposed to be about just made them look bad, and was our chuckle of the day. Mondays can be soooo much fun, eh? Right-click on image to enlarge. UPDATE: They have since edited out all the Rupert Murdoch stuff – and they are trying to encourage their readers to stack the deck on the Daily News poll asking visitors if they believe Borzellieri should be removed. Yesterday it was 71% yes, so if it starts going in the opposite direction, don’t trust it.

One People’s Project

In an effort to defend white supremacist Frank Borzellieri against a news story spotlighting his appointment as a elementary school principal two years ago, the White supremacist Council of Conservative Citizens accusing what they termed the “’Conservative'” New York Daily News of “carrying out a campaign of harassment” against him, and erronously reporting that the paper was a part of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire.
“Despite marketing itself as a ‘conservative’ alternative to the New York Times and the New York Post, the New York Daily News has clearly shown that it is just as left-wing as the others,” the CCC article read.
In truth the Daily News has been owned and published by billionaire Mort Zuckerman, and has been since 1993. Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. owns the conservative New York Post, which ironically has had featured several columnists in the past who have also contributed to American Renaissance magazine, which is published by CCC board member Jared Taylor.

In January, News Corp.-owned Fox News saw controversy when it suggested that American Renaissance had something to do with the shooting in Tuscon, AZ that killed six people and injured several others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. This proved to be unfounded.

On Sunday, the Daily News reported that  Borzellieri, a longtime associate of and contributor to American Renaissance, was hired in 2009 as a principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Fordham, Bronx. It is an elementary school with a predominately Black and Latino student body. Borzellieri has written in the past against multiculturalism, has worked as a member of a Queens school board to remove books about Martin Luther King, Jr. removed from school libraries, as well as other books he deemed “anti-American”, and suggested in one of his books that rising Black and Hispanic populations will lead to a “New Dark Age”.

The story has been met with responses on the internet and during 10 am mass at Mount Carmel on Sunday, when according to the Daily News, 54-year-old Juan Varela addressed the congregation, condemming the church’s hiring of Frank Borzellieri as their school’s principal and shouting, “This church hired a racist. This church does not like Hispanics and blacks,” Although he left when asked to leave, police caught up to him two blocks away from the church and arrested him for disorderly conduct and weapons possesion for carrying a knife.

The Council of Conservative Citizens’ website is run by Kyle Rogers, who was responsible for the failed boycott against the movie Thor on the grounds that a black man should not have been playing one of the Norse Gods.
