While we don’t want to encourage it, this whole thing about letting boneheads fight in Mixed Martial Arts tournaments does have it’s advantages, namely watching just how much of a beatdown they get at the hands of someone who is not white. When people learned that Maryland “Skinheads” Doug Sonier was scheduled to fight up-and-comer William Campuzano, people were screaming that Campuzano knock his sorry behind out. Apparently Campuzano decided to oblige them because a fight scheduled for five rounds hardly saw one. It hurts jJust looking at the pictures of this bout, and we swear Sonier’s boy Jason Tankersley from MDS is about to cry in one of them. If he isn’t and these knuckleheads keep trying to do MMA, we are sure there are quite a few William Campuzanos out there aching to give them something to cry about. That is, if they are even allowed to fight in the first place, which is another issue. The promoters are a small outfit based in Texas, and they didn’t have any issue with Sonier fight. Some did however, and they noted that larger more established outlets would never allow people like Sonier to fight under their banner. Not only that, but Sonier and the rest of MDS keeps getting kicked out of every gym they try to do something in. Promoters in the future should take that to heart. Enough of this nonsense about how they are entitled to their beliefs. Stay true to your own and keep this scum on the sidelines where they belong. If you can’t, you might find want to stake out your own spot there.
One People’s Project
DALLAS–A Mixed Martial Arts bout in Texas was where a member of Maryland “Skinheads” (MDS) suffered his latest embarrassment. Doug Sonier, who generated some controversy when his associations were revealed but was allowed to fight regardless, was pummeled by his opponent, William “Yum-Yum” Campuzano of Dallas. That pummeling ended with Sonier being KOed at 1:36 of the first round.

Sonier, who was listed as being from Waco, Texas, although another online account has him training at Balance Studios has had a rough time in his MMA career. His last scheduled fight in November was scrubbed when he failed to meet the weight requirement. Now Sonier, who one online account has him training at a place called Balance Studios, sees his record drop to 3-2. William Campuzano fights for Mercenary Martial Arts and is undefeated at 4-0.
Discussion about whether Sonier should be allowed to fight was found on the forum at TXMMA.com, and Sonier tried to quell the mini controversy there in posts of his own. “I am a fighter and that is that,” he wrote. “I am coming (sic) down there to fight and put a great show on for all of you. I have put too many years of work and time in to this sport to disrespect it. You will see I all i (sic) want to do is put a show on that you guys will enjoy.” Ironically, while simply saying that the talk of his associations are just rumors, his screen name was “MDSDoug”.
After the event, posts talking about the fight suggest that it could hardly be described as one. “Easily the most one-sided fight of the night,” a poster to TXMMA.com wrote. “Sonier ate a brutal knee and punch combo that my wife and I were sure sent a tooth flying Teila Tuli style. This of course is unverified, but (it) was a brutal ko nonetheless in the first.”
Sonier was among the members of MDS who participated in a National Geographic documentary in 2007, and was seen training at a gym with MDS member Jason Tankersley, who was in his corner for the Dallas fight. As was the case when Sonier was disqualified in November, there has not been any public discussion of this fight from MDS or any associated hate groups.
