The World’s Darkest White Supremacist Michelle Malkin once wrote a book titled “Unhinged”, which was supposed to describe how the left reacted to President Bush. Now we know that her crowd said that they were going to treat President Obama just as bad as Bush was treated, but considering that Bush wasn’t elected fair and square and went on to be a complete incompetent failure, going after Obama in similar fashions would make them look like fools, wouldn’t it? We suppose it is all Michelle Malkin & Co. has because it’s all they have given us. The Birther “movement” people showing up to presidential town hall meetings with guns, crying about the Department of Homeland Security warning about right-wing extremists only to have those extremists murder a total of five people in three months…from the people who gave you all that, now comes a real stupid routine: opposition to the President of the United States speaking to schoolchildren. On Tuesday, President Obama will be speaking at Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA (pictured) about staying in school, and today’s McCarthyists have decided to red and race-bait the event, saying it is an indoctrination attempt to turn “your children” into neo-Nazi Stalinists or something. When Obama opens up his presidential library, he needs to have a prominent spot there showing the kind of opposition he faced. People generations from now will not believe it actually happened otherwise. And let that serve as a note to conservatives who do this crap: You will be forgotten in time.

Politifact went to the trouble of investigating a claim made by the Florida Republican Party that President Obama’s upcoming address to schoolchildren will “indoctrinate” the kids with “socialist ideology.” Their conclusion: a “pants on fire” lie.
We asked the Republican Party of Florida for evidence that Obama intended to discuss health care, banks, automobile companies or taxes with the nation’s schoolchildren. They couldn’t point us to anything.
A spokesman said the party was particularly concerned about the study questions the department had provided. “The goal of these materials is to tell students why they should support President Obama in his overall agenda,” said Katie Gordon.
“If the former administration had done something like this, the media would be handling this a lot differently,” she added.
We reviewed the study materials but didn’t see any mention of controversial issues, let alone any attempt to indoctrinate students in socialism. The pre-K through 6th grade materials said the main ideas of the speech would be “citizenship, personal responsibility, civic duty.” The materials for high schoolers mention “personal responsibility, goals, persistence.”
As Politifact found, Obama’s planned words are pretty innocuous, with a focus on doing well in school and behaving in class. That hasn’t stopped some school districts from refusing to air the address.
