We just learned that today, Holocaust denier and Hitler apologist David Irving will be at the Hilton hotel at 150 Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida 33406. The meetinng starts at 7 PM. We don’t know what is going to happen just yet, but as things develop we will let you know. There is likely to be opposition, as Irving is pretty much used to, and expects. The same cannot be said for the venues he chooses to use for his meeting places We go through this crap every year he comes out here, and it is always the same thing. We find out he is coming to our towns, we find out exactly where on that day or some time before, and in most of the cases come to find out that the venue was told that the David Irving event was brought to them as something else, something benign so as not to raise suspicion or cause the venue to say no. If you want to defend David Irving’s freedom of speech that’s one thing, but when someone is unwittingly forced to accomidate him without respect to what they want, that’s pretty low. So we, along with another of activists from other organizations who have dealt with Irving over the years, have decided that this year we will send out this alert and this flyer for anyone to use. We also include a general flyer for use in your locale whenever Irving comes to your town. In the meantime, whenever you find out when Irving infests your town, let us know, and we will make sure the rest of the country knows as well. UPDATE: Irving movced tonight’s venue after the Hilton threw him out! He is speaking right now at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Room Ocean 1. He registered under Focal Point Prouctions. You can call the hotel at (561)533-6000.
This fall Holocaust denier David Irving will be on a speaking tour of the East Coast, which will guarantee an audience of neo-Nazis, white supremacists and the like in a venue that more than likely have been duped into hosting him. We are sending this alert to all possible venues that you might be one of them.

David Irving is a British writer who has been involved with the fascist political scene since the 1960s. Always known for the pro-Hitler bias of his books, approximately two decades ago Irving made the transition to being a fully-fledged Holocaust-denier, when he testified at the trial of neo-Nazi Ernst Zündel in Canada, and also arranged the publication of Fred Leuchter’s widely-refuted report on gas chambers at Auschwitz. In addition to spreading blatant historical lies, Irving has publicly stated that “The Jews are the architects of their own misfortune.” Unsurprisingly, Irving was a popular speaker at neo-Nazi rallies in Germany – until he was banned from the country. In 2006, Irving was jailed in Austria after pleading guilty to a charge of “trivializing the Holocaust,” which is a crime in that county. Since his release, Irving has been marketing himself as a former “political prisoner.”
Touring the US since the beginning of July, Irving’s first leg was on the West Coast, and whenever the location of his event was learned it was met with opposition. The Embassy Suites Kansas City International Airport Hotel hosted him in that town with the local Jewish newspaper, the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle noting that only a dozen people came out to hear him. In Portland the Embassy Suites again played host to him, and notable neo-Nazis like Dylan Marchand of the National Socialist Movement were there to hear him speak. In Phoenix, activists caught up with Irving at a place called Jerry’s Restaurant where some of his supporters responded by sieg heiling the opposition. On Oct. 11, Irving was in Des Moines, Iowa, once again at an Embassy Suites hotel, and the protests were such that they had to delay his engagement.
While there is a concern with the hotel chain Embassy Suites repeatedly hosting Mr. Irving, we know that many other venues will be doing so without prior knowledge of the kind of event that will be taking place. We are encouraging such venues to be on the watch for any suspicious booking, and should one arise that would raise concern, take every measures necessary to prevent Mr. Irving from sullying your venue.
