NEXT ON THE WHITE POWER CHOPPING BLOCK: PAUL BEEBE, WILLIAM HATCH, JESSE SANFORD

We sure hope that Jesse Sanford (pictured, right) and Paul Beebe (left) put all the black music on their MySpace pages to throw off the cops, because they really do look corny when police find WP evidence when they searched an apartment after they and their friend William Hatch (center) allegedly attacked a mentally challenged man by branding a swastika on him. This story is going all over the place particularly because it is taking place in a town fairly close to the Arizona border. The man they abducted was taken from the Diné reservation, the very same one that the Diné Nation was sent to when that more infamous group of border crossers took over their land a few generations back. Now we have the descendants of those undocumented workers (or in this case illegal immigrants) who now want to pull crap like this. Keep this up, boneheads. Just keep this up.

FARMINGTON, N.M. – On April 30, Paul Beebe wrote on his MySpace page, “Hope I don’t go to jail today.”

On May 3, Beebe wrote, “need a ride to work cops took my car”.

On May 8, Beebe, 26, and two others, William Hatch, 28, and Jesse Sanford, 24, were arrested and charged with abducting a mentally challenged man from a Diné reservation and branding a swastika on him.

According to the Associated Press, the three men forced the 22-year-old man into a car April 29, and drove him to an apartment where in addition to branding the swastika on his arm also shaved a swastika into his hair and drew degrading words and pictures on his body with permanent marker. According to police, a search of the suspects’ apartment turned up evidence that the men are involved with white supremacists. “We haven’t identified this as a gang-related crime. That is still under investigation,” Sgt. Robert Perez said. “But they appear to be associated in some fashion to the white supremacist movement.”

This would be in sharp contrast to what is found on the MySpace pages of two of the suspects. Beebe, a landscaper who owns his own business and who’s MySpace page is under the name “whiteboydozer”, has several friends of color and lists R&B as his favorite type of music. Jesse Sanford meanwhile has a page which is laden with hip hop imagery. There is nothing regarding the incident on his page, although there was a mention of him having to go to drug court on April 28, the day before the incident.

The three men were charged Friday with kidnapping, aggravated battery and other felonies, and are being held with bond set at $150,000 cash for each. Prosecutors in New Mexico say they plan to pursue hate crime charges.
