AGAIN ON THE WHITE POWER CHOPPING BLOCK: RON EDWARS, CHRISTINE GILLETTE & JEREMY KATO OF THE IMPERIAL KLANS OF AMERICA

We are now one week before the start of Nordic Fest, the white power concert that happens annualy in Dawson Springs, KY courtesy of Ron Edwards and his Imperial Klans of America, and what happens? Edwards, left, and his lady friend Christine Gillette, center, get popped on drug, weapons and other as of yet unspecified charges in a FBI raid on the Dawson Springs compound where Nordic Fest is supposed to take place. In the process, Jeremy Katro, right, who was last seen in a National Geographic documentary called Inside American Terror has been popped on marijuana possesion. Well, this might bring down attendance at this year No-Dick Fest, unless of course those going are fine having the feds as their own personal little security team! We should learn more as the Edwards, who is pretty much a veteran of FBI raids, was due in court a few hours ago, so we will keep you posted.

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY—During the earlier half of the day on Wednesday, May 19th, members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as officers from the Kentucky State Police (KSP), gathered at the Imperial Klans of America (IKA) headquarters compound in Dawson Springs, KY with warrants. As a result, 3 members of the Klan were arrested on various charges.

With the headquarters situated off of Old Price Road, the IKA claims to be the “largest Klan organization in America today, with members throughout the US, as well as Europe, Australia, and South Africa.” In addition, their official webpage also proclaims that, “The IKA is a ‘traditional’ Klan with a focus on the 21st Century. We are a paramilitary organization with ties to Skinhead and National Socialist groups. We are a LAW ABIDING ORGANIZATION.”

However, the founder of the group and Klan Imperial Wizard, Ron Edwards, was among those charged and arrested on Wednesday morning. After the raid, Edwards was charged with possession with the intent to distribute and distribution of a controlled substance, including illegal drugs such as methamphetamine and hydrocodone. Edwards was also charged with possession of a firearm.

Edwards’ girlfriend, Christine Gillette, was also arrested during the raid, yet her charges remain undisclosed as of this report.

Jeremy Katro, 30, of Dawson Springs, KY arrested on Wednesday as well. Katro was charged with possession of marijuana and taken to the Hopkins County Jail.

Both Edwards and Gillette are scheduled to appear at a court hearing this morning, May 21st, in the Owensboro, KY District Courthouse.
