NEXT ON THE WHITE POWER CHOPPING BLOCK: 'TOMMY ROBINSON' AND FIVE OTHERS FROM THE ENGLISH DEFENSE LEAGUE

Tommy Robinson ArrestedAbout a month ago in Philly, the anti-Muslim student group Temple University Purpose brought fellow Islamophobes Pamela Geller and Riobert Spencer to speak on that campus. During the Q & A, DLJ asked Geller about her support of the English Defense League (EDL), which has been making a lot of noise for basically being boneheads that are not anti-Semitic. Geller, in all her vapid glory, went on to defend her support of the EDL, stressing – without prodding mind you – that they were not violent. Now there are a number of news items and reports that come out regularly that don’t just suggest but rather state loud and clear otherwise, but the latest news really drives home how much so. During an anti-Afghanistan War rally put on by a group calling itself Muslims Against Crusades, the EDL along with its leader “Tommy Robinson” (real name – and the one we will use from now on: Stephen Yaxley Lennon) decided to attack the protesters, not to mention the police trying to keep the two groups apart. That resulted in “Robinson” and five of his crew getting arrested, “Robinson” catching an assaulting a police officer charge. Now what makes this a little curious is that “Robinson” was among those EDL members that flew out here to attend Geller and Spencer’s Sept. 11 rally against the  Islamic Center near the site of the World Trade Center. “Robinson” however was not allowed to enter the country, and was sent back to the UK as soon as his plane touched down. Now we can add this latest crap as to why, so if Pam Geller decides she wants to defend this (as she put it) “bunch of lads”, when some enterprising Young Republican group brings her to your campus, you might want to ask your school if they are confortable with funding terrorism!

The founder of the English Defence League (EDL) has been charged with assaulting a police officer during a confrontation with Islamic protesters.

Stephen Lennon, 27 of Luton, was held as the Muslims Against Crusades group burnt poppies in Kensington, west London, during a two-minute silence to mark the anniversary of Armistice Day.

Five other members of EDL have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Two Muslim protesters have been arrested for public order offences.

As the clock struck 1100 GMT, Islamic protesters burned a model of a poppy and chanted “British soldiers burn in hell”.

One police officer was taken to hospital with a head injury sustained during clashes as about 50 men linked to EDL were kept separate as they shouted abuse.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said Mr Lennon had been released on bail and would appear at West London Magistrates’ Court on 22 November.

He said four other men, aged 41, 42, 19 and 18, all arrested on suspicion of affray, had been released on bail until mid-December.

The spokesman added that the two members of Muslims Against Crusades, aged 25 and 30, had been bailed until mid-December pending further inquiries.
