JARED TAYLOR WANTS CITY OF CHARLOTTE TO SAY THEY ARE SORRY AND MAKE GOVT. FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO THEM

Jared Taylor getting face timeJared Taylor of American Renaissance doesn’t have much of a case, and the way the people closest to him talked on Council of Conservative Citizens member James Edwards’ aptly named radio program The Political Cesspool, they know it. Still, let’s see where this goes. As reported, Taylor held his press conference this morning to discuss the shutdown of the American Renaissance Conference. They still have not found a new location – at least that’s what he is saying. In the conference, he said that he is demanding an apology from the City of Charlotte because of the two Councilmen who inquired to area hotels about the conference (Jared prefers to say they were pressured into not hosting the thing – always with the victim thing, eh?) and as a nice little cherry to it suggested that AmRen is given city facilities for the meeting for free and for the city to pay for hotel rooms. If these demands are not met, Taylor may – repeat may – file a lawsuit. That is the most careful way to say “They got us over a barrel and this thing is not going to go well” without losing support, but again let’s see how this goes. Regardless of if AmRen is on or not, we started all of this, even though we are not players in the shift in things, and the things we have been planning for the past few months are going to go forward, so we will be in Charlotte next weekend. Things are working out for us just fine, and frankly, the high point for us was when they lost a hotel again! And let’s be honest, no matter what happens here, the handwriting’s on the wall. Neither Taylor or anyone that has ever associated with him is going under the radar ever again. There will always be people speaking out against this highbrow white supremacist bull from now on.

Charlotte Observer

The head of a white supremacist group is demanding an apology from the city of Charlotte.

He says that if the city doesn’t meet his demands, then there may be a lawsuit.

The group American Renaissance had planned to hold its convention at a hotel near the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. The hotel cancelled the event and now the group is trying to find a new location.

The group’s leader says two members of city council have pressured area hotels not to host the conference.

The group says that because of that, they should be able to use government facilities for their meeting for free.

They also want Charlotte to pay for hotel rooms for group members.
