RAIN ON THE NAZI PARADE; TRENTON BECOMES A WASHED OUT MESS FOR THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST MOVEMENT

NSM in TrentonAfter this week, we hope Jason Heicke, the New Jersey rep for the National Socialist Movement realizes that it the leafletting he had done on the sly for the group is probably the best way to go for him. Sadly, even that might be too late because bringing the NSM conference to New Jersey has now made it harder for him and his crew to roll around in stealth. Only a third of who the group expected for the rally came out, and that pretty much says it all about them. As things wind down and the band of Nazi fetishists go away, New Jersey can take pride in the fact that her rep for being a Nazi-intolerant state is intact. That doesn’t mean we forget about the Nazis until they rally again somewhere else, but it does mean they will have a harder way to go now that we know who all of these scumbags are. We had a good time countering these bastards, and we hope to see some of the people we saw at the counter-demo again real soon. We will have our video of the day up shortly, so keep an eye out for that.

TRENTON, NJ April 16—An embarrassing week for the National Socialist Movement’s (NSM) conference with a pedophile among their ranks being outed, six of their number going to the hospital after a fight with the opposition and the usual anger towards their presence ended with a rain-soaked rally outside the New Jersey Statehouse with only a third of the number they said would come and hundreds of activists and community members, most of them African American, coming out as a counter protest against them.

53 NSM members and associates began their rally almost a half hour late, bussed in by the New Jersey State Police in Department of Corrections buses, which was ironic given the number of convicted felons among their number, including NSM “Commander” Jeff Scheop, who once served time for burgulary. The Nazis stood in front of the Statehouse and made speeches which were impossible to hear given the proximity of them with the crowd that came out to oppose them. A speaker system powered by a generator had been placed beforehand where the 300 counter-demonstrators were, but it was never turned on. Some of the rally attendees attempted to goad the crowd by waving NSM and Confederate flags at the opposition, who in turn ripped a Nazi flag to shreds, stomping and spitting on the pieces. Between both sides were thousands of New Jersey State Police officers.

Not all counter-demonstrators were in the protest area. A block away several chapters from Anti-Racist Action as well as the Progressive Labor Party congregated and rallied the community from their position. The New Black Panther Party, who days before the rally was to take place made their opposition to the Nazi rally known in various news reports, joined those in the protest area soon after the rally began, marching in to cheers from community members. Despite their reputation for being an anti-white racist organization, they worked with whites who were part of the protest against the NSM.

The NSM suffered a few embarrassing setbacks prior to the rally and during the conference. John Wasserman, a NSM associate living in New Brunswick, NJ who was promoting the conference and rally for weeks on the New Saxon website, was discovered to be a convicted pedophile and was outed in his neighborhood by Hub City Anti-Racist Action (“Hub City” is the nickname for the City of New Brunswick). Although at one point counter-demonstrators taunted the NSM by bringing up his name, it was later learned that he was not standing among his fellow neo-Nazis.

The NSM conference itself was marred the night before by an altercation between attendees and antifa who had discovered the secret location in Bordentown, NJ. Six of those attendees were sent to the hospital and two antifa are currently in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail each.

There was a concert with the bands Emprie Falls and Zyklon B as well as a cross and swastika burning planned for an after-rally, but given the thunderstorms, it is unknown if the NSM went ahead with those plans after they were bussed out of the city.
