NEO-NAZI BILL WHITE MAY BE GETTING RELEASED TODAY – HITLER'S BIRTHDAY!

You know, we knew Bill White was going to get out of jail sooner or later. We knew that he was probably going to get some of his convictions overturned which would have brought him back among us rather soon. But come on – he’s getting out on Hitler’s Birthday? Really? Let’s hope not. Federal prosecutors are hoping that they can keep him in jail following the appeal of the reversal of a January conviction on Tuesday. Bill has already been in jail for over two years, but what’s a little longer? We will know today if he gets out, and if he doesn’t, don’t celebrate just yet. Heinrich Himmler had a birthday too!

Bill White, the neo-Nazi who’s online threats against people he did not like either politically or personally put him on a fast track to infamy and prison may be getting released today – the 122nd anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s birth – after a judge dismissed a conviction that he threatened a juror in the case of another white supremacist who plotted to kill a federal judge.

White was about to be released from federal prison in January where he had spent just over two years on another federal conviction for using his website Overthrow.com to communicate threats against various persons for personal and political reasons, when earlier charges that he threatened the jury foreman in Matt Hale’s solicitation trial in 2004 were reinstated. In that case, According to the Roanoke (VA) Times, White publicized the juror’s name and contact information, but made no direct threats against him. Still, prosecutors argued, that the posting should be taken in context with a campaign of intimidation and thinly-veiled threats that White maintained on Overthrow.com

White was convicted of threatening the foreman, but appealed on free speech grounds. US District Court Judge Lynn Adelman reversed the conviction on Tuesday. He still may not be released however, as Federal prosecutors plan to appeal and are expected to ask that White be sent back to jail pending that trial.

It is not known if White will return to Roanoke, but according to sources the properties that he owned as a realtor have since been foreclosed on. Complicating his finanacial position even further is the judgement against him in a discrimination lawsuit filed by two tenants of a Virginia Beach housing project that he threatened, a case that was part of the earlier conviction. In that case the threats came after the tenants filed a discrimination lawsuit against their landlord.

Another person White had threatened was a University of Delaware administrator because of a diversity awareness program at the school, telling a secretary in the administrator’s office that he was the leader of neo-Nazi group, that people who think the way she does about race should be shot, and that he would hunt her down. He had also threatened a Citibank employee because he didn’t like how she handled his credit card.

Prior to forming the now-defunct American National Socialist Workers’ Party in 2006, White was the Communications Director for the National Socialist Movement, who eventually threw him out of the organization.
