NAT'L SOCIALIST MOVEMENT & JEFF SCHOEP'S LIFE FALLING APART, BUT MAKES NEWS ANYWAY

NSM in KnoxvilleOver the weekend, the media was all abuzz about reports that the National Socialist Movement was to patrol the town of Sanford, Florida where Trayvon Martin was murdered. But with their leader in divorce court today, and members reportedly bolting the group over the past month, it is no wonder no one saw them around.

DETROIT—While Florida was dealing with the news over the weekend that neo-Nazis from the National Socialist Movement (NSM) were going to patrol the town of Sanford, FL where Trayvon Martin was murdered, in truth the group’s embattled leader, was preparing for today’s court appearance thousands of miles away where he will finalize his divorce from his wife of four years, and a possible hemorrhaging of members stemming from the leaking of the NSM membership list and the revelations that his wife was part-Syrian.

NSM “Commander” Jeff Schoep is scheduled to appear in court Monday along with his wife Johanna to end their marriage after he found a new girlfriend in fetish model Camilynn and moved her into the home he shared with Johanna. In the wake of this, Johanna revealed to several outlets, including One People’s Project, of the mixed race lineage of not only herself, but of her daughter as well, whose father is black. Jeff Schoep long denied this to his supporters and members, but in the wake of the news being confirmed by Johanna, members have been rumored to be leaving the NSM in droves.

Among those that have been rumored to leave is NSM Chief of Staff Jason Heicke, who brought the 2011 NSM Conference to New Jersey with disasterous results when it became the first NSM conference to be confronted by counter-protesters who clashed with NSM members that tried to attack them, sending four members to the hospital and resulting in two protestors being arrested on charges that were since dismissed. Although no official statement has been made by either Heicke and NSM, Heicke’s name has been removed from the NSM website, and Heicke no longer refers to himself as the Chief of Staff on his chapter’s phone message.

Last week, Schoep announced on the NSM website that members were going to patrol Sanford in the wake of the New Black Panther Party offering a $10K reward for anyone who can bring in George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain that fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, as the teen returned from a local 7-Eleven. The case has sparked controversy surrounding long-simmering racial tensions.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal reported that there was no evidence of neo-Nazis of any stripe doing any patrolling in Sanford. Ironically, the Wall Street Journal is owned by News Corp., which is owned by Fox News. Over the weekend, the Orlando, FL Fox affiliate saw scrutiny in reporting on the story after referring to the NSM as a “civil rights group”.
