TENNESSEE ANTI-RACIST NETWORK MAKES CALL TO ACTION TO OPPOSE AMREN 2014

No Hate in TN

What say we get this party started early, eh?

Tennessee Anti-Racist Network

For the third time, the white supremacist publication American Renaissance is hosting their annual conference at pristine Montgomery Bell Park & Inn, just outside Nashville, Tennessee in Dickson. Their racist conference will be held April 25-27, 2014. Learn more about last year’s opposition to AmRen here.

The theme of this year’s racist conference is titled “Prospects for our People”: as was the case at last year’s conference, there will be opposition to the conference and AmRen’s racist and hateful ideology.

The conference is being held in Dickson, TN, after being shut out of Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC in years prior by the work of social justice activists. Those who have attended AmRen’s racist conference have seen their attendance cause problems at home. Republican Party operative John Stortstrom, who is also an engineer in a wing of the Army that produces explosives, almost lost that job when it was learned that he attended the 2013 event.

More will be announced as it develops. Save The Date to attend and express Solidarity with Montgomery Bell workers and with the rural community of Dickson and the good people there who are Taking A Stand Against Racism. **HELP NEEDED! Please join the planning team by sending us a message! Planning meetings will be held in January in Dickson, Murfreesboro, Nashville, and other locations.**

TN Anti Racist Network is everyday people from different walks of life coming together to confront racist dialogue and action in the state of Tennessee. We want Tennesseans to come together and tell white supremacists and all other racist groups that their ideas of racial superiority have no place in contemporary society; are not based in accepted science; and are not welcome in our state. We think racism is a community issue and anti-racism a community responsibility.
