PHILADELPHIA – An rape suspect who along with his brother were known associates of the neo-Nazi Keystone State “Skinheads” (KSS), was killed last week as he attempted to flee from the scene of the attack in the Kensington area of the city.

According to the Philadelphia Daily News], Vincent Pellegrino, 24, was identified as the man that a 26-year-old woman said sexually assaulted her when police responded to a 911 call about a rape in progress March 20 just after 1 AM inside a 2004 Nissan Altima on Collins St. near Huntingdon. At approximately 1:20 Am Pellegrino, whom it was determined was driving the vehicle, was speeding north on Boudinot when he hit a concrete wall on Westmoreland St and was declared dead at the scene ten minutes later.

Pellegrino, along with his brother Nunzio, have been regular associates of KSS for an unknown length of time. Photographs online show the brothers standing with well-known KSS members such as Joseph Phy who once served house arrest for a 2007 assault. Nunzio and Phy attended a rally in support of the Ukraine earlier this year.

The Port Richmond Section of Philadelphia, where Pellegrino lived has been a base of operations for KSS over the past decade. Despite having just as long a record of their members commiting various crimes from assault to murder, they have attempted to paint themselves as anti-crime.
