FOLLOWING NYPD SHOOTINGS, POLICE UNION BOSS LITERALLY DECLARES WAR ON WHOMEVER THE HELL HE'S MAD AT

The ironically named Pat Lynch has been busted making some rather questionable comments this week, but this one has GOT to be the last straw. He needs to go NOW!

Hours after two police officers were shot and killed execution style inside their patrol car, the head of the largest police union in the nation began to make inflammatory statements accusing the Mayor of New York City for the deaths and how it is now a war for the rank-and-file police.

“(F)or the 1st time in a number of years we have become a “wartime” police department. We will act accordingly” Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, head Pat Lynch said according to a tweet by ABC 7 correspondent Rob Nelson.

Over the past week, Lynch has stepped up his attacks on anyone who has involved in #BlackLivesMatter protests against police violence over the past month, saying in one recording at a union meeting for example that the members of the Congressional Black Caucus who protested outside the US Capitol with their hands up – the stance Mike Brown was reportedly in when he was shot and killed by now former Ferguson, MO police officer Darren Wilson – as “stupid shit”. The remarks at the meeting were part of the contention he has with New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio for what he considers the mayor’s lack of support for police officers in the wake of a grand jury’s decision not to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death killing of Staten Island resident Eric Garner. In another tweet, Rob Nelson noted that Lynch attacked the Mayor further by saying, “The mayor’s hands are literally dripping with our blood because of his words, actions and policies”

The protests in New York City have been particularly voltiale with police officers and protestors engaging in fist fights and protestors being accused of calling for dead police officers. Media reports have said that the shooting of officers Wenjin Liu and Rafael Ramos was done by someone police say was wanted for killing his girlfriend and may have been acting in revenge for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, based on recent Instagram postings. He reportedly killed himself moments later in a subway station.
