Raped a half-blind, 11-year-old girl with learning disabilities. The English Defence League shows its ass yet again.

A member of the English Defence League’s Blackburn Division has been jailed for 11 years and 7 months for attacking a 14 year old vulnerable schoolgirl on her way back from school after being sentenced at Burnley Crown Court today.

The attack took place after he lured the schoolgirl into bushes near to St James’ School on Thursday 6th June and went on to sexually assault and rape her.

McQueenie was disturbed and ran off when the girl’s father came looking for her and an extensive investigation was launch, with McQueenie being caught soon afterwards.

Detective Chief Inspector Dean Holden from Lancashire Police said ““This was a callous attack in which McQueenie preyed on a vulnerable young girl, enticing her to a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her. Her ordeal only came to an end when her dad came to find her and McQueenie ran off for fear of being caught.”

“Thankfully we were able to trace him thanks to the assistance of members of the public who came forward as witnesses and also helped with identification and CCTV. I know that the victim’s family would also like to express their gratitude to those people too.

“Now that McQueenie has been put before the courts and brought to justice, I hope that the victim and her family are now able to move forward with their lives.”

McQueenie will also be subject to a lifelong Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) and will also be on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.

His Facebook profile (which has now been deleted) showed he ‘worked’ for the English Defence League and posed for pictures with former EDL leader, Tommy Robinson at a demo he attended.

Last week former EDL member and leader of the North Wales Alliance, Merfyn Jones was jailed for historic child sex offences including rape. Jones received 17 years in prison.

McQueenie joins a long line of EDL members who have abused children including Richard Price, Michael Coates, Matthew Woodward, Alan Thomas Ellis, Brett Moses SDL member Stephen Payne and Archie Sleman who kidnapped and raped a seven year old girl in a caravan.
