This year, as Irving showed up for a stop on his speaking tour hyping up the virtues of Heinrich Himmler, real<em>ity<\/em> showed up.    <!--more-->  <\/h3>\n<h2><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.occupycincy.org\/article\/rally-against-hate\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Occupy Cincy<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>When we heard that Neo-Nazi and Holocaust Denier <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Irving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Irving<\/a> was to speak at the Eastgate Holiday Inn, we decided that his &#8220;doctrine  of hate&#8221; should be countered by a more rational, inclusive message at  this event. . .  so OC put out the call  to members to say so, loudly  and clearly, and Occupy responded!   <\/p>\n<p> The ensuing Direct Action was a great success- Irving became  belligerent, 9 police vehicles (Sheriffs and Union Township Police) were  summoned, and Irving and his few supporters got a taste of peaceful  protest, and noone was arrested.  In fact, the LEO Squad was very  &#8220;polite&#8221;from the report of one occupier who spoke of a feeling of  simpatico with a few of the officers!!<br \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.occupycincy.org\/media\/img\/eastgate_rally_3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Update, 5pm 6\/6\/12: A Victory against hatred!   Holiday Inn Eastgate will NOT be hosting events for David Irving in the  future, and would not have hosted THIS one had they known what Irving  stands for&#8230;<\/h2>\n<h2><em>Justice Movement strikes again!
