Las Vegas Metro Police arrested the Nevada state leader of the neo-Nazi National Social\u00adist Move\u00adment<\/a> (NSM), Josh Dav\u00aden\u00adport, 24, on August 11 on charges of kid\u00adnap\u00adping and rap\u00ading a 13-year-old girl.\u00a0 Police inves\u00adti\u00adgat\u00ading a miss\u00ading child report were led to Davenport\u2019s nearby apart\u00adment, but left when no one answered their knocks.\u00a0However, mem\u00adbers of the kid\u00adnapped girl\u2019s fam\u00adily sub\u00adse\u00adquently sur\u00adveilled the apart\u00adment and later in the night allegedly saw the cry\u00ading girl leav\u00ading his apart\u00adment. They called the police again, who returned and arrested Dav\u00aden\u00adport with\u00adout incident.<\/p>\n

Accord\u00ading to police, the vic\u00adtim said she had been sex\u00adu\u00adally assaulted at gun\u00adpoint and the sus\u00adpect had threat\u00adened to kill the girl and her fam\u00adily. Dav\u00aden\u00adport report\u00adedly told police that he saw the girl hav\u00ading an argu\u00adment with another boy, then invited her into his apart\u00adment for a short time before telling her to leave. He denied kid\u00adnap\u00adping or hav\u00ading sex with the victim.\u00a0A sub\u00adse\u00adquent med\u00adical exam\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtion found signs of sex\u00adual trauma on the vic\u00adtim, while a search of Davenport\u2019s apart\u00adment allegedly found items of the victim\u2019s cloth\u00ading in a bag in Davenport\u2019s bedroom.<\/p>\n

Dav\u00aden\u00adport was charged with four counts of sex\u00adual assault on a vic\u00adtim under 14, four counts of sex\u00adual assault with a deadly weapon, lewd\u00adness with a minor, kid\u00adnap\u00adping, and bat\u00adtery with intent to com\u00admit sex\u00adual assault.\u00a0He has had a pre\u00advi\u00adous his\u00adtory of vio\u00adlence towards women.\u00a0 In 2010, fol\u00adlow\u00ading an inci\u00addent with his then-girlfriend, he pleaded guilty to attempt to com\u00admit bat\u00adtery con\u00adsti\u00adtut\u00ading domes\u00adtic vio\u00adlence by strangulation.\u00a0He received a sus\u00adpended 12-month sen\u00adtence and two years of pro\u00adba\u00adtion. As recently as July 16, Dav\u00aden\u00adport posted to his Face\u00adbook pro\u00adfile that \u201cHalf the time when i see a hot chick i wanna ask her out to din\u00adner.\u00a0 And the other half time i just want to see what their heads would look like on a\u00a0stick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dav\u00aden\u00adport has been an active mem\u00adber of the neo-Nazi National Social\u00adist Move\u00adment since 2007.\u00a0 He has been the group\u2019s Nevada state leader since 2011.\u00a0During this time, Dav\u00aden\u00adport orga\u00adnized or par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpated in numer\u00adous NSM events in Nevada, Ari\u00adzona and Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia, includ\u00ading a num\u00adber of anti-immigration events, such as a June 2011 NSM protest dubbed \u201cReclaim the South\u00adwest\u201d held out\u00adside a Las Vegas nurs\u00adery to protest day laborers.<\/p>\n

Dav\u00aden\u00adport is heav\u00adily tat\u00adtooed, with many tat\u00adtoos depict\u00ading occult sub\u00adjects or hate sym\u00adbols.\u00a0 Among his tat\u00adtoos are sev\u00aderal swastikas, the white suprema\u00adcist ver\u00adsion of the Celtic Cross, a Sturmabteilung sym\u00adbol (the Sturmabteilung, or SA, were Hitler\u2019s stormtroop\u00aders), a 14\/88 (a white suprema\u00adcist tat\u00adtoo com\u00adbin\u00ading the num\u00adber 14, which is code for a pop\u00adu\u00adlar white suprema\u00adcist slo\u00adgan, with the num\u00adber 88, which is code for \u201cHeil Hitler\u201d), SS bolts, the phrase \u201cwhite power,\u201d a Totenkopf skull, and the SS slo\u00adgan \u201cMeine Ehre Heisst Treue\u201d (\u201cMy Honor Is Loy\u00adalty\u201d), among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
