The \u201cvast majority\u201d of college women lie about being raped. Men are violent because of their mothers. Feminists are plotting to dominate men. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One thing was ringingly clear among attendees at the first-annual International Conference on Men\u2019s Issues<\/a> in St. Clair Shores this weekend: Women are becoming an increasing threat and something must be done to stop them.<\/p>\n Here are eight observations about the conference:<\/p>\n 1.\u00a0Most college rapes are \u201cbuyer\u2019s remorse.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The crowd broke out in laughter when one speaker suggested most alleged rapes on college campuses are fabricated.<\/p>\n \u201cThe vast majority of female students allegedly raped on campus are actually voicing buyer\u2019s remorse from alcohol-fueled promiscuous behavior involving murky lines of consent on both sides,\u201d said Barbara Kay, a columnist for Canada\u2019s\u00a0National Post<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s true. It\u2019s their get-out-of-guilt-free card, you know like Monopoly.\u201d<\/p>\n 2.\u00a0Speaker bemoans lack of \u201cstress test\u201d for hitting wife<\/strong><\/p>\n Stefan Molyneaux, who has been criticized for anti-Semitic remarks in the past, accused women of perpetuating violence and then failing to take responsibility for the outcome.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no stress defense for hitting your wife,\u201d Molyneaux told the conference attendees. Molyneaux added: \u201cBillions of women hit children 932 times a year.\u201d<\/p>\n 3. Conference organizer has called for violence against women<\/strong><\/p>\n Paul Elam, who organized the event and is the founder of A Voice for Men<\/a>, regularly calls women \u201ccunts,\u201d \u201cwhores\u201d and \u201crotten crotches.\u201d<\/p>\n But he\u2019s gone further than name-calling.<\/p>\n On his blog in October 2010, Elam encouraged men \u201cto beat the living shit\u201d out of abusive women.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t mean subdue them, or deliver an open handed pop on the face to get them to settle down. i mean literally to grab them by the hair and smack their face against the wall till the smugness of beating on someone because you know they won\u2019t fight back drains from their nose in a few million red corpuscles. And then make them clean up the mess.\u201d<\/p>\n 4. Conference organizers overbilled the event<\/strong><\/p>\n Organizers surprised attendees with\u00a0last-minute announcements<\/a>\u00a0that the conference was being moved from the ornate Hilton DoubleTree in downtown Detroit to a modest VFW hall in St. Clair Shores.<\/p>\n The stated reason: The large hotel could not accommodate a growing number of attendees, who were forced to find new hotel arrangements. But by most accounts, the conference attracted about 100 people, far fewer than anticipated. The DoubleTree could accommodate up to 250 people.<\/p>\n 5. Conference spokeswoman suggests 13 as age of consent<\/strong><\/p>\n Janet Bloomfield, an anti-feminist blogger and spokeswoman for the conference, has suggested in the past that the age of consent be reduced to 13 because of a \u201cmistake of age\u201d can get unwitting men in trouble.<\/p>\n \u201cThe point being that it can be incredibly difficult to know, just by looking at someone, how old they are,\u201d Bloomfield wrote<\/a>, calling some teenage girls \u201cfame whores.\u201d Bloomfield also called protesters of the event, \u201cWayne State cunts.\u201d<\/p>\n 6. Conspiracy theories of feminist control were rampant<\/strong><\/p>\n Speakers often depicted women as control-hungry zealots rigging the court and political system in an effort to take control from men.<\/p>\n \u201cI call it the evil empire,\u201d said Erin Pizzey, the British founder of one of the first domestic violence shelters and an ardent anti-feminist. \u201cWe need to go after them. We cannot allow this to continue. And if we don\u2019t stop it, I don\u2019t see a future for marriage, for love, or for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n Another speaker compared it to the struggle of African Americans: \u201cMen are subjected to a family court system so biased that it represents the largest rollback of civil rights since Jim Crow.\u201d Speaker Robert Franklin added: \u201cIt is now public policy to break up families.\u201d<\/p>\n 7. Conference attendee removed after \u201cmolesting\u201d reporter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A Metro Times reporter wrote about\u00a0an unusual encounter<\/a>\u00a0with a \u201cgarden-variety creep\u201d who was attending the conference.<\/p>\n
